How do the prices vary?

You customize your jewelry according to your wishes. The configurator is connected to a background database that is updated daily. This database contains all the different prices offered for precious stones and metals. By selecting another metal or stone, the price for each piece of jewelry will change accordingly. Here is an example: A pair of earrings in Sterling silver with topaz is cheaper than the same design in 18k white gold with diamonds. The prices vary, therefore, according to your choice of materials.

Is your jewelry certified?

With every piece of jewelry, you will get a document certifying the authenticity of the stones and metals that were used in its creation. We use only calibrated gemstones from reputable suppliers such as Stuller and Swarovski. Diamond jewelry is always accompanied (with thumbnail link to image file attached) by a certificate issued by HRD, the Diamond High Council, based in Antwerp (Belgium), clearly certifying the quality and origin of the stones.

How much is shipping?

Shipping and handling is free for all our customers.

Can I check the status of my order?

The status of your order can always be seen in your account.

How quickly will my jewelry arrive?

In general, the delivery is made within 14 to 21 days after purchase. Your jewelry is being produced individually and will then be shipped directly to you from our workshops in Vienna

Do you deliver to PO boxes?

A delivery to a PO boxes is NOT possible - we only ship to traceable postal addresses.

Is my shipment insured?

Yes, each delivery is comprehensively insured for the value of the item. Every delivery must be confirmed with signature upon receipt.

I would like to return my purchase. What should I do?

Exercise your right to cancel. A return of unworn jewelry is possible within 30 days after receipt of goods.

I want to send an order back. How can I do that?

A return of unworn jewelry is possible within 30 days from the moment you have received the goods. Our metallurgical and gemological examination will confirm the authenticity and the condition of the returned order.

How long does it take to get my money back?

After reviewing your return, you will receive the purchase price refunded within 30 days.

No, normally not.

What metals and alloys do you deliver?

Are your metals environmentally friendly?

We only use high-quality metals. To maintain our excellence in quality, we will only use non-allergenic, environmentally friendly metals in all our pieces.

What are your criteria for choosing your designers?

Our designers have been chosen for their excellent design skills. They must have proven themselves in an environment of advanced levels of technical achievement. Every designer has many years of practical experience and must meet strict quality criteria. We are recruiting the talents of renowned international and innovative designers.

Do you have rings without stones?

Yes, there are a variety of pieces available in metal only within our selections.

Do you only use natural gemstones?

We only use natural gemstones. We do not offer any imitations or synthetic stones.

What quality are your jewels?

The gemstones are calibrated in color and in size and shall correspond to the highest standards of quality. Our diamonds are exclusively delivered with a HRD certificate.

Can I freely choose the gems?

Yes, in our jewelry configurator you can choose from a large selection of stones that can be freely combined to suit your personal taste and budget.

Do I get a certificate for my gemstones?

With every piece of jewelry you get a Certificate of Authenticity of the processed stones and metals. We use only calibrated gemstones from reputable suppliers such as Stuller and Swarovski. Diamond jewelry is accompanied (with thumbnail link to image file attached) by a Certificate of HRD, the Diamond High Council, based in Antwerp (Belgium), certifying the quality and origin of the diamond used. This document certifies the origin and value of your diamond jewelry and is included with your diamond jewelry purchase.

Do you use treated gemstones?

We only use natural and polished gems. Some gems are treated according to traditional methods. If this is the case, you are welcome to view our extended documentation of the product. We commit ourselves to document all treatment procedures for each stone delivered to you.

Where do you get your jewels?

We source our gemstones from reputable and reliable gemstone dealers, such as the Svarowski “genuine gems” program or Stuller.

Do you also buy gems?

No, not usually.

What do I do if the supplied ring does not fit?

If you notice that the ring size should be changed, come back to us and inform us about sizing issues. You can send it back and we change it immediately and then send it back to you at a cost of 30 EUR. Order your free ring sizer here (service@colors-of-eden.com).

Can I bring a ring to my local jeweler to resize?

You are welcome to do so.

A cookie, or web cookie, browser cookie or HTTP cookie, is a small piece of text that is stored by your web browser. A cookie can be used for authentication, to store preferences, shopping cart contents and the identity of a server session. Your web browser must allow cookies so that you can buy a configured product.

Care Tips

Cleaning of precious stones

Cleaning of gemstone jewelry is simple and should be undertaken regularly. A bowl with warm water and a few drops of detergent can quickly remove most of the dirt. A soft brush cleans the stone behind the socket. Then rinse with clear water and dry with a soft cloth. Remnants of makeup and skin oils can thus be removed. No detergents should be used in cleaning jewelry containing pearls and/or other organic materials. Please do not use ultrasonic cleaner or other electrical cleaning equipment! Store your jewelery separately to avoid scratching by harder stones. If possible, store each piece in a separate box.

Sunlight and heat

Some gemstones, like amethyst and smoky quartz, can change color or fade due to extreme sunlight. Therefore, make sure that the stones are protected from direct sunlight. Pearls require particularly attentive treatment: To preserve the integrity of the pearl surface, the contact with perfume or household chemicals should be avoided.

Perfume

Always put your perfume on first, only then your jewelry. Perfume diminishes the luster of the surface and causes discoloration.

Chemicals

Chlorine, bleach, alcohol, turpentine, acetone and ammonia can damage your jewelry and should not be brought into contact with it. Especially pearls which are organic in origin and must never come into contact with aggressive chemicals.

Abrasives

Do not use abrasive cleaners, polishes or toothpaste to clean your jewelry. Take care of your jewelry regularly, delicately cleaning it. As with most precious materials, stones and metals react sensitively to any kind of physical exertion.

Here are a few simple rules

You should never wear rings and bracelets while performing house or yard work. Do not shower or bath while wearing gemstone jewelry and pearl necklaces. Protect your jewelry, especially pearls, against lotions, hair spray and aggressive chemicals. Jewelry that is worn regularly cannot look the same as newly acquired. But it remains sharp and colorful during lifetime, if treated with care.
