Ring Sizes

In Europe the size of your ring is measured in millimeter (mm). This size corresponds to the inner diameter of the ring. We would like to give you some help for determining your personal ring size. 

Inner Diameter of the Ring vs. Perimeter of the Finger
In order to establish your ring size, please measure the inside diameter of one of your  rings that already fits you. You can use a ruler, calipers or a sliding gauge to accomplish this. You may, alternatively, measure the circumference of your finger with a piece of tape, string or similar. With either of these two measurements we can then  calculate your ring size:

If you would like to avoid any mistakes in terms of your ring size, we will send you our free ring sizer (email to service@colors-of-eden.com). With its help, you can determine your ring size without any doubt. Please make a note and then check the exact inside diameter in millimeters as well as your correct ring size.

Here are some additional hints:
The fingers of the left and right hand often vary greatly. Please measure your ring size on the hand on which you will wear the ring as well.

Fingers are usually a bit slimmer in winter than in summer. The lower the temperature, the slimmer the fingers.

Your finger size changes over the course of your life. That's why you should not rely on a ring size that was determined long time ago. Always double check your finger size pending a new ring purchase.

Finger size can even change during the day. Thus, the fingers are often a little slimmer in the morning than at night, but this is negligible in most cases.

For very wide rings, we recommend you to order them one size larger, i.e. a ring size 55 instead of 54. The opposite is true for narrow rings and bands. In the latter case please order the next smaller size.

In any case: If your ring doesn´t fit perfectly after delivery, our goldsmiths can change the ring size for you.
